I would be interested in a set of fronts and rears. Just discovered the other day that my front passenger filler has a nice crack in it and I have no idea how it happened. The car has been sitting on jackstands in the garage for 3 years:rolleyes: I just wonder if the heat made it expand and it finally just cracked? Its been hot here like mid 90's (thats HOT for northern states).

It's their age. The flex agent is coming out of them and they become brittle. I have put several sets on peoples cars and prefer the ABS. They seem to fit better all the way around.

Just put a set of Brian's rear fiberglass fillers on my car and I love them! Drilled out the holes, enlarged a couple to get them to fit perfect, had them painted and threw them on the car. I think they look better than factory fillers to be honest. I was apprehensive at first when I got them because I've heard of people having issues with them, but I couldnt be happier with them.

X2. I put a set of fiberglass ones on my GN also, the fit was pretty good with the holes oblonged out, they look great in my opinion.

I put fiberglass fronts and rears on mine,a little tweaking like all fiberglass parts and they look great.

If you have the time and glass skills, you could make them one piece. I think someone posted pics on here a while ago about doing that. I didnt really see the need, they look good how they are.

I just had mine done like this. When I get the car back and have a chance I will take some pictures.

I went with FRP Bumper Fillers from a company called Replica Plastics in Dothan, AL. There is allot of excess overlap on the rears, so you have plenty of room for error in trimming...to a point.

Originally, I bought a complete set from a vendor that uses Danko Reproductions. To no fault of the vendor, the Danko came directly from Danko and they were cracked and very brittle. The body shop did not want to touch them as they've had problems in the past with other Danko pieces.

I found the Replica Plastics by chance, and they're only an hour away from me so I picked them up in person. I bought a complete set (even the nose piece). I'm not a body shop person by any means, but my friend and I really liked the Replica Plastics pieces allot more than the Danko pieces just from the quality and the overall way they feel when compared up against one another. The Replica Plastics pieces are a Fiber Resin Plastic mix with a flex agent and they are allot more flexible and lighter than the Danko pieces. They seem more rounded where they need to be and not as squared off as the Danko pieces and the straight lines are straighter. The body shop had their fiberglass guy blend the two pieces together and it came out very nice. I was really happy with the way they flow with the lines on the side, they matched up pretty good except for the passenger rear which is why I took the car back the day after I picked it up and they're making adjustments. The center (beneath the license plate) where they melded the two together was actually touching the underside of the top lip of the bumper and the vibrations caused it to dig into the newly painted fillers.

These are the pieces from Dothan Replica before I had them put on:

If you buy these from the same company I did you should see if they can send you pieces that are not pre-drilled as the holes they drilled aren't lined up that well and it will require you to make adjustments.

Again, I had mine professionally installed because I don't do body work.

Once I have the car back, I'll take pics. But I was really happy with how it came out. The fronts matched up really nice, and the rear driver side matched up really well too...I'm hoping they can make the adjustment for the rear passenger side but if not you'll see what I mean when I take the pics.

I've done a search of Dothan Replica's on both forums and I've only found one comment but it was a question of how they are and not a review. Their website says they have a lifetime warranty. The shop itself and the owner was very interesting to say the least.

i got the fiberglass ones from gbodyparts and didnt have any issues. much better than stock...

Exact same from here. Got mine all four from Brian at Gbodyparts, they bolted right up, the drill/hole marks were right on and they fit much better and look better then the factory ones. I guess it depends on who is making them.

hello people; I need some fillers fairly soon. With all this heat and humidity in Mass. my speed tape gave up leaving me with a big hole in one of the front fillers. I do plan to get all of them. But gordyzx9r the guy to talk to at replica plastics won't be back from va ca till mon. and the women I talked to said they were fiberglass. Do you think she is wrong?

He told me they were a fiberglass resin plastic. The body shop I had do the work said they were fiberglass and their fiberglass guy melded the two rears together...if they were "plastic" I don't think he could have done that. But then, I'm not a body guy by any means.

From what I hear, you can still get stock GM fronts fairly easily and the prices aren't outrageous. It's just the rears that are ridiculous, but I just wanted to get fiberglass all around and be done with it.

hello people; Gorgyz I thought you said they were flexable?
I never heard of flexable fiberglass.

Compared to the Danko Reproduction fillers, they were flexible. The Danko fillers were very rigid and brittle (I believe they're supposed to be painted with a flex agent added to the paint).

When I asked they guy at Replica Plastics why his were so flexible (and why he had the word "Plastics" in his business name) he told me they were a FRP, Fiberglass Resin Plastic.

Like I said, I'm not a body shop guy. I don't know didly about fibergass or body work. So I took both sets, the Danko and the Replica Plastics to the body shop at the same time and asked them which ones they thought I should go with and they said to go with the Replica Plastics pieces.

You might be able to have Replica Plastics send you a discarded piece, I know they had stuff laying around so you can see what it is before you buy it.
