Fiberglass bumpers using the OE bumper supports?

They don't fit flush, mine are mounted to the two fiberglass tabs on each side. It works, and no one can really tell untill you are up close.

Who made you bumper ?,
Mine looks similar, not happy with it.

I got mine from gbodyparts. What about it are you not happy with? They do take some finess by a qualified bodyman to look right.

does anyone make a one piece front bumper/bumper filler assembly? done right, it would really smooth out the front of the car and make it look similar to an 80's Cutlass front end..

Ok so if the stock front bumper with the steel reinforcement is 65ish lbs. And the smooth fiberglass one are 4-8lbs why does gbody and kirbans list only a 30-37lb weight savings?
Correct me if im wrong but it that just for the bumper weight saving? Cause it like like it should be more like 55-60lbs removed if your not supposed to use a reinforcement.
Did i miss something? Can someone clarify this for me. Appreciate it

because the other cars Ts we4 and 86 gn had aluminum supports weighing aprox 42lbs , the 87GN had steel reinforcement approx 65lbs

Weighed my 100% complete all steel bumper minus the bumper lights witch may come to 1lb today at work. 55lbs on the money
