ive been looking for 1 myself.....the biggest thing about them is the shipping is like $200....thats the only thing holding me back.....next time im near penn im gonna grab one from kirbans....i think vfn makes a bolt on too....

On the trunk release you will have to run a ground wire back to the body.

Site says 18 for shipping purposes. Have heard anywhere from 14 to 18 commonly for bolt on. Pin on is even less.

That seems low. Kirban's is 23 lbs according to their website. The stock lid feels like it is made out of lead, that sucker is heavy.

Wouldn't you want the weight in the rear where it could help with traction? I've been waiting for someone to produce a really nice carbon fiber hood.

I have seen it go both ways. More weight in the rear helps you hook, but then once you hook, you are having to drag all that weight down the track. Best of both worlds is to have a light car, that hooks, and you don't have to worry about perfect placement.
