Hello -

After 2 weeks of installing a new fuel system, changing out old plugs and wires I was able to finally get the engine started up. The previous owner had it sitting in storage for over a year. However, after letting the engine idle for 2-3 minutes i shut her down and noticed my coil pack had cracked in half....I replaced the old coil which had this same crack and now the new is cracked as well????????

What would cause this to happen? Please help

only thing i could think is when its screwed down the gasket isnt flush, maybe a wire pinched between the module and coil, shoot a pic of it.

Damn!!! I didn't ever realize when I mounted it that there was a gasket that needed to be flush.....Now I feel like a dumb ass......That had to be the issue then...thank you sir!

usually their is a cork style gasket that comes with the coil,it is sticky on one side to hold in place.and when you tighten it ,just snug it.good luck.
