actually no he didnt kick my ass i kicked his hehehe, anyway, my guess is my car lasted way longer together than yours did so whats your point :tongue: , and yes i get my hands dirty but wont show pictures of my fingernails but here is a picture of what i found out today after taking it apart if your interested to see, the circumstances in which under i blew the head gasket where stupid since i didnt tune the car after making a few changes and i should have.

you better watch it because after if put back together i may just have to call you out and your boyfriend Mike for a little racing , but of course that is if your car is running .

but I beat the hell out of mine relentlessly. Besides, I never bragged how it stayed together, and what is all that copper stuff around those ports? looks like somebody's been in there before... good luck, and dont break a nail call me when you need that work done for you, I'll send my 5 year old

Its called Rust, motor has never been apart until today. get your eyes checked . and yes mine did stay together for 6 yrs beating on it above 22psi constantly. im just not an irwindale racer type of guy.

and as far as racing you, believe me Kevin, when I do pull some money out of my a$$ to get my tranny built, I'll be the last one on your shizzle list to play with. For one, I wont run fat, for two, you are fat so your car is about 600 lbs heavier, and 3'4'5th, i'm not scared to run ballz out and breaking, but it wont take much to beat that 8.65 pass you made at irwindale. As far as MIke, even with a built tranny in my elky, I would not play with that build...you know what, i'd race you with a hurt tranny and still play with your emotions..................... I thought your not a racer? next summer, its on for you, I have a few tricks up my sleeve during hybernation this winter.

my car is running, and has been running since I blew the last gasket and I enjoy talking shiznit to you! it makes my day every time and the reason I cant fork out 2k on a trans, is because I do have a mortgage payment, a new car payment, ymca for my son payment, water and power payment, insurance payment etc. I do have more responsibilities than a toy, we can do a before and after new trans run anytime, let me know when and where, if my tranny blows, then there she blows. It will be hard for you to dodge the fluid though since you will be BEHIND me...

The BEHIND part i love it man, please wake up before it turns into a nightmare. , sorry to hear you have so many bills how about a taking a second Job at MCdonalds I hear the pay is good. :tongue:

I've spent enough over the past 6 months on this car, if I spend any more, I might have to live in an apartment too. I have a honda for sale, I'll give it to you for 100 bucks, sure beats rolling around that black bucket you own, probably faster too. And my only nightmare of you would be you in a bikini, riding Lou's sheep..... :wink:

I live in an apart by choice but then again i could also live in the 5 bedroom beach house i own a part off but choose not too, I also have a honda and its already sold because im buying something else, i change cars like i do socks, about the sheep thing you have to run that one by Lou he is really Jealous and protective of his sheeps. ..

Wicked I am just curious on how you got 30+ deg of knock I am sure you have a scantool,didnt you see any other knock before 30+ ? or did you have it to the floor and run out of alky? because seems to me you would have seen knock #s before you hit 30+ there is alot of #s before you get to 30+ it seems like alot of knock for the millivolts to just be at 735.no doubt the car went lean but 735 wasnt all that lean people seem to tune for 800s ant try not to go below 760s I guess im just puzzled on how much knock you got and that 02 was at 735.....bottom line did alky run out when you had it to the floor.....or what?

I was just curious,cause I have never heard of knock that high and no one seeing it on the scantool or at least hearing it,and it just came up at 30+ is odd to me...Oh well my car is getting a new paint job as we speak,and will be done this week :biggrin: and it runs tooo

Had the cutout open and it prevented me from hearing any knock, alky tank was full and spraying, most of the time i look at the scanmaster but dont know why i didnt this time,i guess i was to busy looking straight to make sure nobody pulled in front of me i did notice that on a couple of early attemps the car would lean out 3/4 throttle and get some knock but didnt think much of it, instead a couple of days earlier I took 12% fuel out on the translater and never went back in to change it, i am sure the knock was gradual but like i said i wasnt paying attention until i saw the smoke. I had also made a couple of changes to the car one being a bigger exhaust housing and the other Razors alky kit, i left the boost alone at 23psi with the smaller housing but when the bigger housing was installed i am sure boost went up but i didnt verify this with a full WOT pass until the freeway RUN and even then i paid no attention to it but i am sure it was higher than 23psi, i dont blame Razors alky kit for my headgasket except myself of not starting from low boost and tune up from there as i have done before..

1- tires are outside the car so no armoall inside get it straight
2- ur damn right i showed that ricer where he belonged, behind me seeing my taillights.
3-in the heat of battle i am more worried about looking for whats in front of me than looking at whats going on with the scanmaster.
4-Broke!!! sure it did, there is not doubt, but it will come back bigger better faster and stronger so u better watch what you say or you will be the next person reading my licence plates from a few bus lenghts behind.

also good point carradine i have to verify and make sure my alky is staying on while im at WOT, but i wont know until i get it back up and running and this time i will start at low boost
