Hi guys,(84 gn) im looking for the cast gasket that goes between the turbo up pipe and the turbo. does anyone know where i can find this part. no dealerships around me have it and gmpartsdirect doesnt have it anymore, please any info??? :(

I got mine from O'reilly's auto parts. They called it just a Exhaust gasket, but it fit perfectly. Cost something like $3something. Try other part houses before you giveup. its just a simple dount gasket.

gasket ?

You are looking for the piece that has the 3 holes in it. Metal!! with a bevel on one end. Correct. If so I/m looking for one also.
I don/t think it is called a gasket, maybe an adapter.

It's made by Specialty Component Engineering they call it a Buick triangle turbo flange pro gasket part # 4172. Postons carries them. If they are out I have an extra one.:)

I believe we just ordered one from ATR as well. You can check there.

ATR (M+M Motorsports), Limit Engineering, PTE etc all carry this item.

You guys sure?

Last I heard this Item was EXTREMELY hard to find....It was discontinued from GM a while back (early 90's) and last time I looked noone has ever made a reproduction.

I know Brian Weaver has a few (used), and a few months ago I got lucky and picked up a NOS in GM Box one for a small fortune!

I'll check but I'm sure this is one of the items that just showed up at the house from ATR

I just got a turbo from Limit Engineering - came brand new in a sealed package...might be repod or GM NOS.

Call them and see....i'm sure they'd send ya one...

Which way does it go on ???
I think it might work both ways but better on the proper way....

When I got my Up pipe and Downpipe, for my HotAir, from ATR they sent me one. I believe they make their own.
