First impressions are that these upgrades are incredible!!! I haven't went out and done any fine tuning yet, but the car feels awesome!!! I hit the gas about 3/4 & my boost hit an instant 25+ lbs. ,(and I do mean instant!!!) so I'll have to turn it down a bit before going out again.Overall though, the car has never spooled so fast, the throttle response & power is incredible & I feel like I've just created a monster!!!
I do have a question though: I left my fuel pressure where it was before the trans+/extender chip which was at 39 line off. I know that Ramchargers suggested that I start off around 45 line off & tune from there, but at idle my blm's are already at a perfect 128. So should I raise the fuel pressure & then take out some fuel from my base fuel settings & see if I can get back to128? Now that I think about it, I remember that the instructions that came with the big mouth cold air kit also suggested that I should raise my fuel pressure a couple of lbs. after the install of their air kit, so maybe I should go ahead & do that, but then I think about my perfect 128 blm's, so what should I do? Did those of you that are running the extender chip set your fuel pressure at the 45lbs. that was recommended?
There is alot for me to learn about this trans+/extender chip tuning stuff & I know that I can with all the helpful information you guys always seem to provide here on the TurboBuick board!!!
