Fires, idles for few, then dies..

Start the car no problems, idles for about 3-4 seconds and then dies. It's a fairly stock car, only upgraded to 87 coilpacks at this point. Cat is not clogged (dropped the exhaust, same problem), turbo spins, unhooked and cleaned the MAF same problem, fuel pressure is good, cleaned the IAC/TB, pretty sure it isn't vacuum related. Any suggestions before I get serious and tear into this piece? I was thinking maybe a crank or cam sensor? Thanks guys,

A leak after the MAF sensor?
Choppy idle at all? Could be vacuum leak.
TPS & IAC set correctly?
When did you put the coil pack on?

Fuel pressure is fine so a clogged fuel filter is probably not the problem although I will replace it just to check. No choppy idle, just starts, idles, then peters out. No leaks after the MAF, I traced all the vacuum lines and I could fine no leaks, sprayed ether to check for leaks as well but no dice. I'll have to check the IAC and TPS are set correctly. Story is my father has been doing all the work, car ran fine and he took it to emmisions testing. After he got it home it started to act up. I just wanted to get a laundry list of things you guys would check since my computer is at my house but the car is at his. I'd like to get this running right in one session. Thanks for the input so far guys.

No check engine light on?
I would try to reset the IAC and TPS. I had the same problem and the IAC screw adjustment was bottomed out. Maybe move that out see if she stays running. Do you have a scan tool of some sort to adjust them? The proper procedure is on:

What is the milage of the of the car?. If over 100K you should check the vacumme @ the EGR valve. using a hand held vacumme pump/gauge apply vacumme to the EGR valve, The pump/gauge should HOLD vacume. you should remove the EGR valve and inspect manifold EGR passage way for blockage. also are you looking @ the FP gauge while the car is running?. Your ECM may be @ fault too. the ECM keeps the Fuel pump running once the oil pressure sensor see pressure.

Well if the car has to be in closed loop to set the IAC and TPS it'll never happen. The car won't run that long. I'll play with the settings a bit to see if I can make a change. As for the fuel pressure, it's fine. Doesn't drop off or become erratic. I'm pretty sure I checked the EGR but I'll give it another go when I dig into the car. Any other ideas are welcome, the more the merrier.
