First ALRADCO Intercooler

Not Buick related so I thought I'd put it in this section. We just completed our first Intercooler. It's for the Ford Powerstroke. A buddy of mine with a F350 just did a 12V Cummins swap with compound turbos. Should make over 600hp/1200tq, pushing well over 60+ psi. He asked if we could build an intercooler to handle his needs. This will be going on his truck for testing in the next few weeks. If all goes as expected, we'll be in the diesel performance market soon. I must say the intercooler surpassed our expectations.

Hope you guys don't mind the truck performance stuff.

if there is one i hope its a slic there are only like 2 other options on the market that i know of. plenty of front mounts for our buicks though

His is a bit over the top so the production model probably won't be quite as large. We'll see how everything fits. I also have a 7.3 F350 that makes about 400hp, so I plan to throw one on my truck as well.

That is correct. He has his own speed shop and builds pretty much anything you can think of. Guy's got skills for sure.

Since you're making one for yourself, you wanna make one for me? I just put a bigger turbo on my truck so hopefully I'm over the 400HP mark. Prior to the turbo swap, I was 380HP to the wheels.

I haven't even seen one of those. If there is an interest for them sure. To do just one, you don't want that bill.

Just don't think there's enough demand out there for them and there's already several out. Seems that most people upgrading their i/c would be going to a fmic anyway??
