first timer with razors PAC

just finished install of juloi's full opt progressive kit and i think Im ready to put it to use .
i swapped out my stock chip for a pitbull street chip with 26deg @ 2000 -3000 and 24deg from 4000 -6000
what do i need to fill my jug with to give it a try and will i need a custom "Alky" chip to use this kit.

Grab some methanol to put in that puppy!!!! Denatured will work too if you can't wait for the good stuff. A chip upgrade will definitely help as that Pitbull (from what I've heard) is old tech. Get a chip from Bob Bailey or Eric Marshall and you'll be all set.

From what I've heard alky doesn't like that much timing, it likes 100 oct. chips better.

I'd use your street chip for now till you got a alky chip.

i realize the chip is old school (got a few with my injectors) but it is the lowes timing chip i think i have , , i have a hypertech streetrunner for 180 therm , ATR strip chip for race gas but its timing is 32 then 30 (figured thats too high) and a KBell 9006U but dont know its specifics swapped in the pitbull today after reading its specs mainly because of its fan control , the stocker wont turn fan on soon enough with the 160 thermostat (lets it get to 190+) , the pitbull turns the fan on at 0 and off at 30 and with it the rad temps have been in low 160s , took a run tonight with a scanmaster and without the alky on i got 2deg retard at the 1-2 shift with 18 lbs boost but my o2s werereading low so im going to crank up the FP and see

Man these guys are good.

Hey some cars like the 26 degree chips.. some dont. Most will like chips in the 21-23 degree range. Others 16 degrees.

Best to start with a low timing street chip and move from there.

Extender Chip??

Will alky be ok with the extender chip with the trans plus?

Works fine on my car with it.

55 lb. inj. and Extender Extreme with T+.

SMC kit and DIY parts for alky.

If you don't have the 98 octane version use the T+ timing control to your advantage at higher boost.

got it running didnt want to run flammable mix for first time so its running 50/50 denatured alcohol and distilled water.
switched chips from the pitbull to a kbell 9006U and car runs much better and has trouble keeping traction even from a 20mph roll , it turns my fan on at 160 and my shifts feel better ,

with the KB chip had about 2.1 degree knock at top of first with 93 oct but the boost on this chip is only about 16#
..... and then I turned on alky and 00 KR havent seen it come above 00 since
I was expecting a big boost in hp that i could feel when it kicked in but all i saw was the led but ill settle for the absence of KR
maybe its different with meth but that not easily found in NJ

now to start cranking it up

You can use denatured alcohol available from any paint/hardware store. Your local track may also carry it at the pump.

At the boost levels you'll be running, almost anything will work. The top reason I use methanol is $$$$ .. its way cheaper "once" you've found a source typically. Its not cut in stone that it must be used.. As the pump will support anything you throw at it.
