Most yards have scrapped all the stuff from the 80's. Prices for scrap were high for a while and many yards liquidated their "OLD" cars. You're lucky to find a few cars at best.
Now it's all 2000 and up for the most part.
 
I would print that chart from Gbody and take it to the local junkyard.

Thats exactly what I did. Only problem, is every one I tested broke either the housing or the coupling the first time it hit one of the end stops. I figured if the shit's that fragile, it's a moot point to pay for it. Unless of course I just encase it it JB weld (and still have to buy a new coupling). 87 style is the way to go IMO.
