Does anyone know how to get the flare fittings not to leak? I replaced the short tranny lines that go to the internal tranny cooler in the radiator with new stainless steel lines and I can not get them to stop leaking, I keep tightening them more and more but I don't won't to strip out the brass fittings. What do I need to do  Thanks, Kyle.

I had the same problem with stainless braided brake hoses. The Stainless doesn't crush easily...had to put some muscle into it. Good luck

Check Earl's or Russell's website, they make soft metal seal washers for leaky fittings that go between the flare and tubing...

make sure you have flared the SS line sqaure and true, otherwise, if the line does not seat perfectly it will leak no matter how tight you torque the fitting, or you can try some teflon tape as a last resort
