Spray it clean with brake clean, scuff with scotch-brite blow off with air, and lay a puddle of JB Weld over the pin hole. If it needs to flow into the area, heat with a hair dryer/heat gun. Works great. I have repaired many intercoolers that way. It will out last you.;)

My front mount had leaks but didn't cause my blm's to hit 150. Is the cap on the turbo bell.....the spot where the pipe from the passenger side valve cover was attached to when the car was new? If the car is idling real bad, then spraying WD-40 or propane should make a big difference when you hit the vacuum leak. Also, your mechanic could do a smoke test and you will see where the smoke is coming out, to find leaks. I had a bad injector O ring that caused a vacuum leak. Try pressing down on the injectors with the car running.....but again, you must have a large leak (or several) to peg the blm at 150.

I even fixed a pin hole in the gas tank of my first car with JB weld, filled the tank the next day and it held fine:D

In my time I have learned this......only 2 things will survive a niclear hollocost.....1 is JB weld, The other is cockroaches:eek:

JB it and be done! And im with gnrick. it would have to be one hell of a pinhole (hardly a pinhole at all) to make BLM's that high!!! Im thinkin you have another problem!

Throttle body bushings.

I test for leaks with a 6in long piece of 3.5in abs pipe with a cap on one end (3in if thats the size of your MAF tube). Drill the cap with a 1/4" bit and install a bike tire air fitting. Take off the MAF and attach the abs tubing to it so that you can pump air into the intake system with a compressor through the bike valve. Get a spray bottle of water and soap and go to town. This finds leaks like no other and ill tell you what, both my dad's and my car PISS air out of the throttle body shaft bushings. Damn near sprays the water back at you.

It is a gn1 front mount extreme model if anybody wants to trade me for a stretch.I don't quite need this much intercooler.it has a real small pin hole if anybody is interested in a trade.
