Hey Bruce, you mentioned on this old post to not mess with the ML Pressure setting in the PCM.

Why is this?
Reason for bringing it up again, is I've put in a new motor since then, an LT4, which produces alot more hp at lower rpms than the old motor, with the old original truck settings it would wind up to 6-7k rpms easy before shifting. The MLP setting where raised in the PCM to be more like they are on a f-body (much lighter car than my truck) and the shift points adjusted, now it shifts perfect, but winds up a little in the 3500-5k rpm range, it could be firmer in that range.
Anyway, I want to understand why this may not be a good solution to the loose feeling tranny with the higher hp motor before it burns up if I can prevent it.
Thanks
