Somebody buy this thing before i do,I don't know what i would do with it,I"m single + have no kids, but what a rare find.
Look at the Miles,Condition,Options + price.
Dual power Leather buckets, fold up console/armrest,moonroof,3rd seat,350 with a posi rear, full guage package,
woodgrain,dual power outside mirrors etc.
I have no real use for it,but it's just one of those cars,i'm having a hard time passing up.
I think if it could be had for 5000 or 5500 this would be a steal.

seems like a high price for a TBI car- i could see it if it was a year newer and had the LT1.

Even cooler were the few in house Estate Wagons that they stuck 3.8 turbo drivetrains in the late 80's. I'm sure they are long ago crushed though.

A few of my friends are into B Bodies. They are in BADASS of NE. I think Grumy is on that board too with his turbo 3.8 B body wag. One of their members from here in Nashua has checked that one out. It's in great shape but alttle to expensive. I know they would move on the price. I've ridden in a few wagons that move out pretty damn good. One guy has plans for a turbo LT1 in his. V8Killer has an ex state wagon and it runs 15.1. Not bad for a boat.

Ya ,i wasn't saying it's fast or a hotrod,or want it to build up or anything, just a daily driver type of thing.just a very clean very low mile loaded buick.
If that could be had for 5000 or so,maybe even 4500 who knows i don't think its too expensive, especially if that is what you are into, because it looks like an extra clean one.it has 46k mi. loaded + looks mint. It's a car dealer they always advertise higher then they will take because people come in with trades.
You don't get alot for 5000 these days. Though i do think it probably would be more desirable with the lt1 like novaderrik said.

I was thinking that it probably did have the detuned lt1, because the lt1 came out in the vette in 92 + i googled 93 roadmaster last night + the response i read said 260 hp, but i just did a wikipedia check + it says it got the lt1 in 94 like you said.
I wasn't a big fan of the lt1 anyway, with the optispark problems, cooling + waterpump problems ,so it might be a blessing that it doesn't have it,all except for the less power. Anyway it's a cool car in nice shape so i figured i would point it out to people,That car lot always has some cool cars, they usually have some old gto's + camaro's .

There's a surprisingly large amount of those wagons on ebay. I don't click on them all, to see mileage, but decent ones seem to be bringing very strong money, pretty consistently. I'm looking for one of these:

Buick | eBay

Mostly because they're cheaper, but also because they accept an LC2 pretty easily. I have no doubt that the newer ones are better cars, and with the V8 in them you can just play with what's there. But I want an LC2 wagon on a budget :)

Cam and heads and a holley projection and it will run.

Oh, the B body guys here love the LT1 except for that damn Optispark. Lots of talk of LS conversions but none of my friends have done that. No talk of a LC2 in them. They don't know nothing about them...
I bet if you worked them over you could get that for about 4k. I know that dealer and right now there're turnover is slow.

I think 4000 for that car, with those miles,+ condition would be a screamin deal, but i would be surprised if it goes that cheap.I wish i had the room i would probably go get it,for just an everyday driver.
I'm going to keep an eye on it + if it gets cheap enough, I'm gonna grab it.
And what a chick magnet that will be too.

the B bodies didn't have the same optispark problems as the 92-94 Vettes and F bodies.. the B body got a revised vented optispark in 94 that was put in the other cars in mid 94 or at the beginning of the 95 model year. waterpumps are cheap and only slightly more complicated to replace than a regular small block Chevy.
i've owned a TBI Caprice (92 model) and an LT1 Caprice (94 model), and the LT1 car had a lot more power but the best mileage i ever saw with it was 19mpg.. the 92 had a lot less power but it would knock down 28mpg. i found the LT1 to need less maintenance, despite having over 200,000 miles on it compared to the 160,000 miles that were on the 92..

All my B body friends have had issues with the Opti, regardless of model or year. Many are into the cop/state cars from auctions, getting them for under 2k and they all need it replaced. V8Killer has done 2 (Chevy wag and Caddy) so far this year and needs to do another one in a Carpice he's selling. There is conversion but it's not cheap, too bad.
