Think I will stick with my Cummins for a while longer. 188K miles and only problems I have run into were a leaky hp fuel line and 2 lift pumps. Replaced the line and leak stopped. Just have to get the Vulcan big line/relocation kit installed to fix the one factory design problem (lift pump location). Heck, the ol blue beast even knocks down decent mileage....best so far of 23.1 mpg on the highway. If she hangs on through the fall outage season, will do injectors, new VP inj pump, clutch over the winter.

I've got an early (one of the first, September 1994) 1995 F350 Crew Cab Powerstrokes with an automatic transmission. The water pump dumped at 3K miles. Since then only maintainece. No cam sensors and no injectors. Currently has 126K miles. Original batteries lasted until January 2006. Yep! 11 and 1/2 years on the original batteries.

Transmission took a sh1t at 99K miles with a 2 car trailer loaded. I did get home. Had Brian's Truck Shop in Arkansas build the original transmission. His warranty is 3 years, unlimited mileage, don't care what you pull, it's covered. Transmission works much better than it ever did after rebuild and all Brian's special parts and torque converter.

At this point I guess I just keep riding the ole 95 Powerstroke. If I were purchasing new today it would be a Dodge Diesel.
