I installed black zinc coated cross drilled rotors and ceramic brake pads on our 2013 Ford Explorer GT from R1 Concepts and I really like them.
I installed some on the GN as well along with C5 brakes.
The rotors and offered in plain, drilled, slotted, drilled and slotted in your choice of black, silver or gold zinc coatings.
The standard duty brakes (not heavy duty) were $260 shipped.
The brakes for the GN were about $250 shipped (front: base C5 and rear SSBC '86 C4 front rotors)
They can be reached at https://www.r1concepts.com/
Or by phone if a custom setup. (888) 712-6623
And no, Ford doesn't make an Explorer GT.
