forward clearance?

What is the recomended min. clearance for the forward clutch pack with 4 Alto reds and 4 kolene steels? No wave washer. I assume Chris manual has this info but I could use this info now. I once set one @ .045 but that appears to be too close as the car wanted to creep forward when in neutral and eng. speed is increased. Upon disassemble the frictions were burnt.

020" is fine .remember you still have to compress the wave plate which will allow additional piston stroking.
