Forward drum bushing

Ok, I am really stumped on this one. How do you get that small bushing in the forward drum out? Any one have a secret method they are willing share. Thank You.

drill it and ream it to size.i think the bore measures .553.your better off getting a good used drum with a good bushing because you usually will damage the drum taking it out if your not careful.

I've used a large ez-out before but there is a tool to remove them made by OTC.

ATSG manual shows tool J-29337 /Forward & Direct Clutch Unit Fixture used to remove & J-8092 Handle w/J-29585-1 Bushing Driver to install.
I've seen several go for around $10, this ones too pricey.>>>>>>>

I drill it out with a drill that is slightly smaller than the O.D. of the bushing bore then use an easy out.

I made a little "leg" to screw onto my little homemade slide hammer. Insert at the bottom of the bushing and slide hammer it out. 2 minutes at worse.
