The trans is fresh with all of the usual goodies.
10 vane pump, ring kit, .550 & .400 boost valves, Alto cluthes and band, extra cluthes throughout. This trans is a CZ model with a new lock up switch, and correct wiring for a GN. (black plug, and 2 switches inside)This trans has a 694 GN servo, and a "stage right" style trans brake. (manual)
This trans will shift at 54-5500 at WOT, so it is perfect for a ported heads and cam car.
Price is $1350 outright no core. And will ship for an additional $150-$200.
Feedback can be viewed in the "feedback" section.
Thank you, Brian Hofer hipsibri@cs.com

Yes will you take a core and where in Michigan Are you brian??
Sounds like a good deal how much for one without a brake??

I am in Roseville.
About 30-45 minutes from both of you.
I will definatly take a core in trade, I always need those. I have a BRF that should be done at the beginning of the week with no brake, otherwise the same as this one. Price on the BRF is $1200 with a core. I will do $1100 with a core on this CZ. (assuming it is a BRF, less if it is not)
Thank you guys...

How dose one know if there trans in the car is a BRF??
Only 100$ for the core damn I could sell the working no damaged core for more at the local trany shop!

I know it shifts and works well just want to add more punch (Crisp) shifts and make sure it can take the power and 3200 Stall we plan add.
What are the benifits of a Brake?? I know they hold you on the line but since this is a street car 85% of the time is that something I should think about??
Would be fun to use at stop lights against all the little mustang fags LMAO
thanks for the info

My core fee is actually is usually $250. If you look closer, you will see I said a BRF from me is $1200 with a core. (or $1500 outright, I should have mentioned)
The one in the post I would sell for $1100 with a core in return. (not the listed $1350) Just a liitle poor writing on my part. SORRY
You can tell it is a BRF by dropping the pan. At that point you need to read the paint ID on the valvebody. You can also look on the tail shaft of the case, on the right side. There is a tag, that should read...BRF.
Thanks

Thanks for the Info On the BRF Ill take a look at it some time this weekend :)
I think it is just my addin skills that made me think 100$ I can clearly see its 250$ today just to much reading for one day I guess. Sorry here also.
Ill get with you very soon for a Trany also ;)

I have sold the BRF I had.
I have a tested CZ non lock up, with a "case stretcher" servo. It is a CZ model also, with all the parts mentioned above. No transbrake on this one...price is $1250 + shipping, no core needed. Will ship anywhere in the U.S.
Thank you, Brian

Just out of curiosity, what does CZ stand for. Does it have a shift kit, and if it does how hard does it, or will it shift. Would you be interested in taking a core too.

CZ is the model of trans. That indicates it is a MonteSS trans. It is one of the few desireable GM hipo valvebodies.
The main differences stock, are the servo, and a slightly higher shift point with the CZ and CQ models. The servo in the CZ I am selling has a GN servo in it, as well as a new GN spacer plate. The trans does not have a "out of the box" shift kit like a B&M, or Transgo. It has our shift calibration. (shift kit) The holes are opened up to our specs. The shift will depend on the converter used. If you use a 12in converter, the shifts will be quite firm. I recommend a 10in or a 9/11 with the transmissions I sell, for long trans life. The smaller converters are easier on hard parts.
I would absolutely take a core in trade. Depending on what model yours is, will determine the core exchange. Shoot me an email, and I will send you my phone #.
Thanks, Brian hipsibri@cs.com

How much horsepower are these t-braked trannys rated for? Will they live in a mid 10 second, full-weight TR?

Eddie,
I have a couple running in the 10.7`s now, these are full weight street cars. One has been in the car nearly 3 seasons running low, low 11`s and 10`s.
I would say they are getting close to the limit of the stock hardened drums. My experience has been that it depends on the converter used. As of now, so far so good. If you want to stay non lock up, they should go low 10`s no sweat. One customer has a non lock up that has ran 9.8 so far with an Art Carr conv.
Thank you, Brian
