Okay, Just finished notching the bottom of the cylinder bores to clear the connecting rod bolts. Since I had the crankshaft in there I wanted to see what the deal was with the front cover.
The CPS sensor would just barely clear the interuppter ring. But the interuppter ring would not clear the bottom lip of the front cover. I am going to go ahead and cut .120 off the cover like Neal S. suggested. This will fix all the problems.
Also for you guys that milled your front cover you wont have any oil leak near the CPS bracket because you milled off the factory raised area. If you dont mill the cover you need to weld up and mill flush a small area under the CPS braket block side.
