Front struts

Hey all,

Changing the suspension on my 86 GN. Anyone know the correct size of the bolts for front shocks that attach to the a arm? They look smaller than 3/8, just assuming they are metric.

These cars don't have struts. Are you talking about the shocks? The top nut for the shocks is either a 15mm or 9/16 if they've been changed. The bottoms may be 3/8 or 10mm.

Sorry, shocks...adjusted post. Yeah, the bottom bolts, you're thinking they're 10mm then?

the threads are probably 8mm, the head is probably 13mm... unless they've been changed- they they are probably 5/16" with a 1/2" head.
either way, a 13mm socket works..
