Hi All,

I have lurked around on this forum, and one of the other buick forums for some time, but have never sold anything on either before. However, I do have 100% feedback on ebay, and have sold a car on LS1GTO, and one on Cobaltss.net, as well as two cars, and many parts on RX7Club.com, over the past several years owning different cars. (All of this can be confirmed, and I can provide feedback from each of these forums, I use the same UN on every forum.)

Now to get to the point. I have what I believe to be a NEW (Or Like new) GM garret turbo for turbo buicks. I have many high resoultion photos, and have attached them below. The turbo is packaged in its original box, and has the original Garret installation tags as well. The GM Part number for the turbo is:

25519875

The turbo is in excellent shape. I originally purchased it to use on a 84 turbo regal that I planned on purchasing, but the plans fell through, and I will not be using it anytime in the near future. This turbo would be great for someone who wanted to have a stock turbo on their vehicle, or have a hybrid stock unit built.

Are there any major difference between the HA Rivera turbo, and HA Regal /Grand National turbos? The gentleman I got it from owned an 84 and 85 Turbo Regal, and he assumed it was a new unit for one of the two of those vehicles.

Any other information that can be provided is appreciated!

No major difference, should work fine for a 84/85 HA Regal

but wastegate and exhaust elbow are HA RIVERA specific.

This turbo has a 3 bolt mounting flange like the 86-87 turbo's if anyone has noticied. This may be better suited for the 86-87 cars. One would probably just have to replace the wastegate actuator, and remove the exhaust elbow.

From everything I have searched out it appears that this is essentially the same turbo as the 86-87 cars except for the exhaust elbow, and the waste gate. Exhaust side of the turbo is a .63 A/R and has the same bolt pattern as the 86-87 turbo cars so a down pipe or elbow off of one of those cars should interchagne. Wastegate bracket and actuator of your choice would just need to be used.

While it is essentially the same... it is not.

will only work for HA cars using a .42 housing compressor housing.
