fuel filter location?

On my 83 T-type, were is the fuel filter located? I know this should be easy, but my car was in ruff shape when i got it from the previous owner, A lot of stuff on the car is custom rigged and fab'd. a ton of things arn't in there original places from what im learning now... thanks guys...

Should be on the front right side of the engine.

It should be in the inlet of the carb. Take the fuel line off and then take the inlet off the carb and you should find it.

the fuel inlet. unless someone put a exturnal filter on.
