Anyone here ever notice a temperature effect on the fuel pressure setting?

I have to set my fuel pressure while the engine and FP regulator are warm, after 15 minutes or so of normal driving. Warm fuel pressure is typically 2 PSI lower than cold fuel pressure.

My regulator is one of the less expensive adjustable types, looks like the bottom half is actually a bosch unit and a machined billet cap is attached.

Just wondering if the more expensive regulators do this too??

Mine is the same no matter what the temp. Do you have a rial mounted gauge, maybe it is being affected?

Yes, there is a small liquid filled gauge on the fuel rail.

I would double check that gauge hot and cold before you shell anything out for a new afpr. I have a a Metco rail gauge and Accufab reg BTW with no probs.
