where do I get an adapter to connect my fuel pressure sensor to the fuel rail? the rail thread is 7/16 - 20 and the sensor is 3/8. I would like to find an L fitting. Went to hardware store and only could find 3/8 fitting for both ends. Any suggestions?
Also, which wire from autometer sensor should be tapped and hooked up to PowerLogger. I believe there is a purple, grey and black wire. thanks.

Brian Cotton made this adapter for me out of a fitting he had which screws into one of the unused ports on the fuel pressure regulator...Works fine. Sorry if the pics are a little blurry...

Fuel pressure

Im asumming this is to hook up an electric fuel pressure gage inside the car i have been tossing this idea around to,good idea on using open port on the reg.Good picts.also!;)

I was able to hook up the FP sensor with what I had and a trip to the hardware store. Once I took off my FP gauge that sits on the rail, I realized I could get it to work with a T 1/8 NPT fitting. Anyone seeing anything wrong with this? Hooking up wiring is next.

The Caspers fitting is weak IMO....look at the thickness of the neck.

Here's what I did....I ordered up a fitting made by Edelbrock p/n 76512. It's a nitrous oxide fitting with a female and a male 4 an fitting.

1. You will need to tap some threads inside the male end for the schroeder valve as it is not tapped for it.

2. Relieve pressure in the fuel rail, then remove the schroeder valve in the end of the fuel rail nipple.

3. Screw this 76512 on the end of the fuel rail nipple. Then install the schroeder valve along with the cap. Stock cap will fit.

4. Note where the 1/8 npt port is....you will need to position it at about the 1 o clock position when tightening on the fuel rail. You must do this because once you screw in the electrical sensor, if it is not done right, it will interfere with the throttle body bracket where the accelerator cable attaches to.

5. Screw in the sensor, plug in the connector.

6. Start up, check for fuel leaks. Have a fire extinguisher handy.

Check out a few of my pics below....someone should do a sticky on this.

To answer the original question to the OP:

CEI - Casper's Electronics, Inc.

Here is how it installs:

Something to remember: If you put too much weight on the end of the fuel rail and attach it to the schrader fitting, you are asking for a BIG PROBLEM!

Too much stress on the end can break the fitting off...then you have more to deal with than just getting a good fuel pressure reading! If you need to put anything on the schrader valve, limit it to one item. I would not recommend keeping a fuel pressure gauge attached all the time. Do you really need to constantly monitor fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge? At best, use it occasionally. Once you have established that your fuel pressure is adequate, you should remove it from the engine to reduce the possibility of future leaks and fuel rail damage. The last thing you need is an engine fire.
