Purchased a fuel pressure gauge to install on the end of fuel rail has 1/4 inch thread. Any one know the exact fittings I would need to hook it to the fuel rail. Do I just remove the valve on the end (not sure if its removable) or hook to it ? Thanks.

I don't remember the size, but the venders usually sell the adapter for the gauge. You want to invest in one of them along w/the 3 or 4' extension to use for troubleshooting purposes. Don't forget to relieve the fuel pressure in the rail by pulling the fuse and starting the engine. then remove the Schrader valve from the rail before installing the adapter.

If your gauge is 1/4 you need -4an to 1/4 npt

I believe Kirban's sells an adapter that allows you to leave in the schrader valve.

I bought one off eBay to install a transducer to log fuel pressure. Was around $10 I believe. The pipe thread end was either tapped to deep or the crappy overseas die they used was wrong but the bottomed out before it tightened. Needed a couple wraps with fuel resistant thread tape.
