can anyone tell me how to hook up the fuel pressure transducer; I hooked mine up and i'm getting 85 #'s and analog gauge says 45. I have a power logger that is set on the pressure b.

is it Caspers transducer ?? or one that came with Analog ?? Mine was an Autometer and I simply tapped the purple wire and set Analog 4 to 100..IIRC you are correct in that the Caspers goes on the 100b(being that caspers is 1-5v linear, unlike mine which is 0-5v) setting.... Other than that, just make sure you have good power and ground(A&B connectors)...All else fails post up on FT's forum.. Bob is always around to answer

it is the autometer transducer. I do not understand this in you post though (100..IIRC) I tried putting it on the 1st pressure setting analog 4 and it just maxes out at 100 #'s is there a download that i need? I saw on ft that they have some downloads for pl but don't know if one applies. Please advise.

Same as mine then.. It should be on "Pressure 100psi" "Pressure 100psi-b" is for the Caspers sensor(different voltage output)..You did tap just the purple wire from the sender and no other wires off the AM unit, yes ? I'm not sure what version of the software you have, but getting the latest version cant hurt..I did not have to adjust anything when I hooked my AM up...

edit: you can also check your voltage to see if it's calculating correctly..0.5v = 0 psi and 4.5v = 100 psi....

ok everything is done and i notice that in the selection screen it shows (.300) somewhere in that range but it is not showing up on data screen.

Where are you seeing the .300(listed in the voltage section??) ??? is that with key off ? or on ?? that would help explain why your readings are off.. Here's are 3 screen captures.. first is key off..2nd and 3rd are with engine running...shows the voltage and the fuel pressure...

the gauge pegs out at 100 psi when the car is running.
shows a full 5v on download screen.
I don't know; do you have your gauge hooked up, or do you only have the sending unit hooked up?

Do you happen to remember the part # on the transducer you used?

I have the guage hooked up in the car still.. I just tapped into the purple wire.. I dont recall the # for the sending unit, it's the Autometer #3363 gauge set....I just checked the autometer site, and its #2246 for the sending unit.. MAKE SURE ITS NOT THE 2245 or 2239 sender that you have.. they are 15 and 30psi senders

im going to be buying one of caspers Pressure Transducer and i was wondering where can i get a pig tail for it so i can atleast have a nice connection with some wires coming off of it to work with. also how are you guys attaching this device to the fuel rail?

Casper probably has them, or can tell you.. I used one off another car to test out the oil PSI I had...I have mine attached to the fuel rail with this adapter I got from Kirbans a while back..It came with his FP gauge kit..

thanks. i figured caspers would hook me up. i just need to give them a call

Yeah! I got my pigtail from caspers. They don't list it; but they got it.
