i have mods in the sig. pump is a walbro pump from fulltrottle not the 340 but there new one that is "better" then the 340. now my problem, o2s fall down to 680-730 after 1st gear. now i started with the 43 line off pressure and started moving it up by 2 and it got a little better but still falls to the area listed above. now the fp is at 54 with line off and still is low on fuel. now i get no ore then 1.9knock total ever even at 110mph. i am running 18-20psi. with turbotweek chip at settings for extra timing in 1st and 2nd only.

? 1 is why would the o2s be dropping that much. i have tried to lower boost to 14-15 but it did not change the fuel problems. could it be the pump is not strong enough for the combo? my last gn felt this way when i had a bad pump. i used to have same combo but with a 63turbo thdp and a atr double pump system. and when i change 1 of the pumps in the tank it was a completly different car.

? 2 i had some boost issues but found them when i put the front mount on last night and found 2 cuts in the turbo/ic hose. the new ic fixed the boost issues. now i spin very bad from a roll or a stop. my best before the ic was a 13.3 @ 101 with no spin and a 2500rpm launch. now the best i can get is a 13.45 @ 100 leaving at idle anything more and spins so bad even 1/2 throttle that the best i can get is high 13s. now i know 13.4 at idle is a mid-high 12 with proper launch and slicks or dr, but the mph seems way off to me like almost 8-10 for my combo. like i said my last gn with only a 63 and double pumper was 114 street and 116-118 track and slicks with a best of 6.7 1/8mile and 11.5 1/4 mile before i found the pump problem. the car was stolen before i got back with the new pump.

i guess do you guys think my main problem is fuel? chip?

Did you do a hotwire kit, or did I miss that in your message? No matter what pump you install, unless it gets full voltage: it won't give you enough fuel. Another possibilty is an air leak in your exhaust system before the O2 sensor. That'll make your readings appear lean as well.

Check grd stud on rear passenger head is tight.Change your oil due to excessive fuel pressure during tests.

What are your 02s in 3rd @ 100+ mph?

What rpm does it shift out of 1st at?

Fuel pressure guage on the windshield will tell you if the pump is ok.

Why aren't you adding fuel with the WOT chip settings?

I had issues last summer with O2s at WOT stuck in a range below desired and adjusting FPR had little or no effect on readings.Checked exh leaks, vac leaks, tried spare FPR,fuel fliter all to no avail.Ended up being loose grd wires on pasenger rear head. My O2s were low yet knock was min or non existance, changing fuel on T/Ts chip had no effect either. Try the grd,its a pain in the butt to tighten unless accessed from underneath car yet can get hand on wires from above to check or security.Try the easy stuff first, easier on the wallet.Goog luck

it is hotwired although cruising volts stay at 13.9-14.1 every once in a while it will drop to a 12.4-6 or so and goesw right back. lose ground? that could be.

turbotweek chip fuel settings? did not know this just though timing when air sensor is discounted.

730-680

no sure will have to check

did not know you could

Hi,
Good advice, all. As noted, it would be a good idea to monitor fuel pressure during a run. In addition, test your o2 sensor's capacity by artificially enrichening ,while keeping an eye on the voltage.0.9 is OK. What are you running for a sensor?.Bosch sucks, AC Delco OK, especially the GNX sensor,ND is good too. I agree, your car is lagging, you just have to find the reason! Good luck!

thanks for the tips guys i will see what i can do tomrrow dont think i will be doing much though got a couple "s of snow outside now and the gn does not go out of the garage in bad weather
