Fuel Puddling?

Hi guys,

I finally got my car all squared away. she runs great except when she starts warm. She'll puke out black smoke like excess fuel but only on the warm start then she'll blow fine and clean. I was wondering if it could be fuel puddling, i had heard about this somewhere before and was wondering if this only happens to me.

Some of the Q-jet carbs seeped gas out of the metering jet well's. Where they where plugged. Fuel resistant epoxy will cure this, If this is what is happing to your car. Read Doug Roe's book on Q-jets carbs. It explains what I'm talking about.

Well i checked that out. It's all good there. it's a reman carb so they already took care of the epoxy. I just discovered a crack in my turbo oil return line so now i can't drive it till i find a new one of those.
