Is it the same as a sbc? Also the cam sensor hold down can I just use a distributor clamp from a sbc?

Yes to the pump plate. Not sure about the other

Same same, stock Buick isn't even a clamp but a large washer on a bolt.

It works, used a stud with some blue locktite on it. Then a nut and washer. Makes it much easier to R&R the sensor.
