I have noticed that my fuel pump loses pressure after it sits for a while. Not sure how long but it has to sit atleast 15 minutes. Noticed it the other day after I shut it off with the hood up, I went inside for a little while and when I came outside I noticed it had zero fuel pressure. Is this normal or does it supposed to hold pressure?

It's more or less normal, the pressure normally bleeds down through either the check valve built into the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator after a while. I wouldn't worry about it, but when you get the time it might be a good idea to verify that you have the correct fuel pressure at idle and that the fuel pressure rises in proportion to the boost pressure.

But, like I said, the pressure bleeding down after 15 minutes or so is normal.

Thanks. I think the car still has the stock pump. If I recall it hangs at around 40+- psi at idle with vac hose on and I have the slightly upgraded "237" non-adjustable regulator.
