I have two walbro 255's and looking at converting to E85 which would require roughly 1000 hp fuel pump as i am pushing roughly 800 at the crank currently. I cannot find what my current set up will support. Does anyone know what two Red's 255's will support for HP?

I would guess that a dual in tank setup with 255's would not support 800 hp on E85. I know mine won't.

800 hp on gas requires roughly ~70 to 75 gph, with no alky. At that same level on E85, you're going to need about 95 to 100 gph at whatever psi (say 70). At 70 psi, twin XP+ @13.5 volts will deliver about 116 gph. But I dont think the XP+ are rated for E85?

I'm wondering if most guys at your HP level has an external pump set up??? Especially those using E-85
