hello peoples; Here I am sitting at home. Left work early to get my 30 plus yr old fridge recycled with N-star. They'll give you $50.00 if you give them a working fridge that's 10 to 30 cu ft. in size. I had it unplugged since I got my new one witch was like 3 days. I get home and plugged it in as it's got to work and it started then quit. I stared kicking the motor and moving it back and forth, plugging it in and out, turning it off and on with the switch and I was ready to call and cancel the pick up when it kicked on. Now to wait as they gave me a 4 hr. pickup window.
weird but funny to me at least

hello; update, My window of 1 to five ended up being 1 to five-thirty as that's when they came. Another funny thing. There I was thinking they where going to give it away to be used again well that was wrong. They just tear it apart and break it down for scrap, freon and copper. I was worried about it running. What a joke. They needed to get it outside and used a claw hammer to bend up the hinges on the fridge to take the doors off. I was kinda shocked.
Now to wait 4 to six weeks for a $50.00 ck.
