fwd heads...20bolt pan

and a 3 spd 200 tranny came in this 85 cutlass I have for a parts car.

Any ideas on the motor? There isn't an oil boss...btw.

What's wierd is that the casting numbers (the last few anyway) didn't cast well. I can see a faint impression where numbers should be. Casting flaw perhaps...

I'm gonna eventually pull it and take it apart...any ideas in the meantime? I'm curious.

I cut up an 85 regal a few years ago with the same motor. Its not a 109 block, but I can't remember the casting no#. It should have a 20 bolt oil pan, but without the windage tray. Also, the lifter valley would be like the earlier blocks, not flat like 109s.

Post a pic if you would. I'd like to see this one as far as the heads and intake. The 20 bolt block is an interum block made just before the 109 casting.
