I feel bad for the poor sap who actually made the mistake because he is most likely the one who is going to pay for the it but I can't hold back a little smile.

Happened to me when I went to buy my GN. It was in Tallahassee and I got charged $.23 instead of $2.30! I spent about $3 filling up, Whish I had a 55 gal drum then. I told the attendent and he was like yea whatever i dont care

That sucks . To bad it didn't happen closer to us. I feel sorry for that guy to.But i will have to say I would have filled up unless it was a private station that i knew. someone emailed me prices of gas around the world. Norway is $6.82 a gallon kuwait is $.78 a gallon and venezuela is .12 cents a gallon. I think we are getting screwed. I was talking to a guy at a party that i went to and he buys liquid fertilizer . well i was talking to this guy and he told me the usa pays $44.00 a barrel and they say on the news that we pay $96.00.Whats up with that. He got this info from were he picks up his fertilizer. He buys 6,000 gallons at a time . I dont know if this guy was full of it or if he telling the truth

The way I understand it is like this. BP, Exxon/Mobile, Shell etc all have their own oil supply from rigs and wells all over the country. A % of crude comes in from outside sources. We can say they have $44 a barrel in getting it out of the ground but I bet it's much lower than that. From what we see on TV it seems as if all oil is from OPEC or the middle east when in fact it's coming in from everywhere. If OPEC sets the price at $96 a barrel then the big oil companies charge the same price when they in fact have much less in each barrel. This is why they make buttloads of $$$$ when the price of crude is up, then turn around and add $$ to each gallon to cover the extra cost of crude
