Gas tank paint

Hello, I want to paint my tank silver, to guys who have done it what kind of paint did you use? Also what steps did you take to prep it?

I have not painted my tank yet, but I was looking into it. Eastwood sells a spray can paint called Tank Tone, I believe, and it's specifically for painting tanks. I think some scotchbrite pads would prep it nice.

eastwood tank tone is the stuff to use.

I used POR15 silver on mine.
