Gm Nascar Coil

I was looking at a "old" GM performance parts book today and they offer(d) a coil-NASCAR P/N 25500182 with the following description:

"Latest Buick"Stand Alone" ignition system. Features integerated coil and module. Rev-limiter and advance adjustment dial knobs are mounted on module. Military harness connectors. Requires only crank trigger impluse along with battery voltage to operate. Tachometer output is available from harness. Mounting lugs are built in and ground strap is included. Use P/N 25500190 harness.
Harness is required for operation of p/n 25500182 coil in electronic fuel injection (E.F.I.) applications. Harness includes connector for E.F.I. interface"

Does/has anyone run one of these coils/modules on their Buick?

It looks kind of trick..........wonder if they are still available???

The parts are still available according to gmpartsdirest, but for $410 plus, I would spend my money elsewhere. The factory ditributorless coilpack/module assembly has performed well for most on the board (and on some very fast cars)
