I know im probly not the only guy who pays the outrageous 4.99 for this 70 page mag right? I mean Look at MMaFF they got like 3-4 times bigger magazine AND it comes every month? What is up with this? I HATE waiting for the next mag to come out while the stang guy at work gets a new one every month, and takes 2 days to look at it. I sit and read GMHTP in my 1.5 hour break at work! And then gotta wait a month or so for the next one. The last 2 mags I got had 1 TR apiece. the first was the "9 sec grandma car" the second was about Injectors and a bigger turbo setup. I am gonna write them and see whats the deal. Feel free to join me. I HATE the fact that in order to get my fill of the speed world, i find myself skimming through the damn mmaff from dude at work. All they talk about in there is Camaros and Firebirds. Theyve alreayd got Chevy and Pontiac magazines and they aint that great either. Someone whos got the hookup should get a TR mag published. I be OK with bi monthly there, as long as it only covers TR's. I would Definetly buy a subscription to it. sorry about the length, just venting. What'dya think?

UNFORTUNATELY, NOT LIKELY

Every one here would like to see more GN/TR/TTA articles, but it's probably not going to happen...why?

Numbers tell the tale. How many Turbo Buicks were produced versus how many Camaros, Mustangs, etcetera?

Luckily, TR-fan Rick Jensen is the new Editor, so it's doubtful that our cars will completely disappear from the magazine.

I agree with your wish/hope, but simple economics determine what magazines are available, as well as what's featured in them...they have to appeal to the widest possible audience to survive.

Simple matter of numbers and money......

I'm just glad that GMHTP still gives our cars coverage and tech articles like Rick Jensen has been doing lately and in the newest issue of GMHTP (which I haven't got yet) I see there will be a special feature article on the TA Performance aluminum V6 block!!!

Don't believe me? Check it out.......

:) :D

I go to the bookstore, read it and if I think its worthy to come home I buy it - I bought the 9 second grandma car one, but I canceled my subscription a long time ago.

"two lane" hit the nail on the head...

I've been a subscriber for years, it's not much, but it's the only thing we've got.

I think with Rick, things can only get better and we should try to support the magazine as best we can. It will not break you, especially if you subscribe, the savings are considerable, and the price is very generous.

Some of the articles that will be comming up will be very well worth the subscription.:)

I think they are already doing better. I really liked the 44 and 50 # injectors article. Its about time somebody decided to do a mild streetable buildup and not some 3000 dollar ball bearing peice. I thought it was great. Every month would be a lot nicer and hopefully it will within the next few years. I would love to see a budget build up of a hot air and see where they can go with it. The hotairs are cheap underrated and easily modded as well. It would be great to see one used in a project (kinda like there fomula 305 now) Hell a feature TTA or a project typhoon or syclone would be awesome. You think its bad for the TR crowd, I don't think there has ever been a Syclone or typhoon in the 3 years I've gotten that mag.

There was a feature of a Syclone a couple years ago, but you're right they don't get much mention and the reason for that is again a matter of numbers and money! I haven't seen a B-body (Impala SS) featured in the mag in a while and it would also be nice to see a fast Grand Prix GTP...... As much as I like seeing TRs there are other cars like the Impala SS, GTP, Sy/TYs and TTAs that would be nice to see in the mag every once in a while and I'm sure we will sooner or later!
