Nice car.

I was at the unveiling of the 599 last month in Plano Texas. They had an F40 sitting on the showroom floor in front of a plasma TV. They showed a video of the F40 tearing a$$ through the backroads of a desert, then enter the 599.

I think it looks kinda like a chicks car, but if it can rape an F40....it's a mans car.

I think that's a 360 challenge car. 140-199K for the spyder.
If it's the all out race from Ferrari then it is a Challenge.

I'd have to ge my Challenge in the white/green stripes on red!
Yeah, well, a Lotus can keep up w/ an F40 around the track w/ only 190 hp!

Im not sure. I know its a Straddles edition. Only 3xx made in the US and 1500 all together. This thing is an all out racecar. Lexan rear window and all. He paid $200,000 used. Its about the same speed and handles about as well as the 430 if not better.

Sweet cars...Line em up and get a vid.....LOL

Noticed you have the front air dams off of your GN also. I actually like the looks of mine better with them off. Hey it helps with weight transfer ..LOL

Here's a pic of a Ferrari that has GN technology installed. 355FI w/twin T3/T4Turbonetics turbos, M-800 MoTec, twin intercoolers, Godzilla B/O valve, 50 lb. MSD injectors. It was BRUTAL on 8 psi boost. It ended up in Norway and I haven't heard about it since we finished it. The car is a '79 308 converted to a 288 GTO. We had to cut the back of the car off to build a new frame section to install the '96 355FI engine and trans axle (6spd). Dry sump oiling, Titainium rods, 3.5 liter V8, 5 (five) valves/cylinder, four cams, forged crank, forged pistons..........Well, just plain COOL everywhere I looked inside the engine. Wiring.....WELL.....THAT'S another story:eek:

The injectors in the picture were the factory original pieces, not the MSD units. Figured I should clarify that before the accuracy "cops" get me:biggrin:

Wow that is crazy stuff. And you have a job too? Thats crazy.

Jason

It's HARD to find generous car guys. Building 747's pays the bills. Building hot rods maintains my sanity (or is that IN-sanity?) I have always built odd-ball stuff. Even when in college I was told that I would NEVER work on radial powered aircraft, and if I wanted to see a V-12 aircraft engine I would have to go to a museum, and that electrical systems were for certified repair stations. Well..............My first job outta college was maintaining a DC-3 for an Alaskan airline (out of business now), then building radial engines for NEW water-bombers, and DC-3, DC-6, and Korean Navy, then doing electrical work for Boeing 767's, then building Rolls-Royce Griffons for an Unlimited Hydroplane. So, I have always been swimming against the current. And now it's twin turbo Buicks, Ferrari's, and Ford 4-valves....just for fun! (unless someone makes me a good offer to build stuff for them:cool: )
