That car looks nice from the outside but jeeze its filthy under the hood. The turbo heat shield is all banged up too.

Actually that car is exactly what I'm looking for. A clean 87 GN hardtop w/ under 50k. For less than $10k. Too bad I lost my job and can't buy it right now. I like it debadged too, I would have the trunk lock shaved if I bought it though. And would be going straight to the tire store for some M/T ET Street Radials for the back.

Oh I just read it has 2 bad cylinders.... 36k miles... someone doesn't know how to tune it. I could rebuild it myself though but if it can't be driven I'd have to figure in shipping costs also..... Plus forged rods and pistons for my rebuild, a .030" overbore, new cam bearings and freeze plugs, block decked, a new cam, and some big valve ported heads.... **** I'd spend so much money cuz once that engine is out the "well might as well do it now" syndrome would take over and I would have a hard time controlling myself as to what came next. I'd put it back together and tow it to a dyno for a dyno tune and then I'd go to the track after I broke the engine in. I'd probably also spring for a built trans and a transbrake, convertor, gears, etc...

Damn I hope my fiance understands when I get my own GN some of the other things we are planning will have to wait till I can atleast make a mid 11 second pass.

By looking at the rest of the car, I would would have to guess it got a quicky paint job (hence the no badges) for a quick sale. There is no way a car THAT dirty would have 36k on it, it is probably more like 136k.

I agree, My 125K mile Turbo T looked a lot cleaner under the hood than that when I got it.

Looks petty good outside. Do you think a carfax would tell what the miles are?
