I have an 87 GN and have dumped quite a bit into it just bringing it up to decent looking shape but now I need some mechanical and electrical work done that my normal mechanic doesn't have the abilities to perform.
I could also use some help with the body such as wind noise from T-tops and noisy doors.
Any suggestions on a mechanic and body man?

I'm new here and looking for a knowledgeable mechanic in Tulsa. I pulled up this thread in a search. Anybody have any recommendations? Thank You

Hey thanks for the reply. I’ll look him up. I’ve logged 547 miles in 2 days. Think I need to replace my rear main seal
A lot of "rear main" leaks are really valve cover leaks. Be thorough in the diagnosis before dropping that pan.

it’s quite a challenge to get a rear main to seal. They were designed for rope seals, rope seals that were made with asbestos back in the day. The modern lip seals are not really meant for knurled cranks so they only work so well. And modern rope seals are “synthetic”, extreme pain in the ass to trim & install.

Just spoke with William Avila, he said he is not interested in working on other people's stuff.
Guess he is busy with his crown vics on the dirt track these days.
