just bought an 87 gn.......run fine till i get it home and now it does not want to start at all, could this be a cam shaft sensor or what................please help
thanks

There are many possibilities with a no start, we need some specifics to help. Does the car crank but not start? If that's the case, verify you have fuel pressure and spark first. Do you have access to diagnostic equipment at all? A noid light to verify injector pulse would be very helpful.

want to thank you all for giving me info trying to helpme, took it to my local mechanic and after running some tests, well the computer was bad,got a new computer in it and he says its running ok now,my next question is when i bought the car last week and not knowing till the other day why would someone put a colder plug in the car.i guess it takes a 25 and had a 23 in it.could someone explain this to me ............thx again

I like the NGK spark plugs, UR5 is what i like and gap them to .032

The more boost you run, the colder the plug you will use.

If there is anything you need for your car, please check this board first, searching here will save you alot of headaches and $$$

just full of questions

ok fellas thxs for more advice.my next questions are,is it a must to run a colder plug with an upgraded turbo, and if the car run rich, poor fuel mileage what can you doo...........sorry all but being a newbie i have a whole lot of questions............thanks again :)

Buy yourself a Scanmaster and read up. There's not really a lot you can do if you don't know what's going on with the car

Go to GnTType.org, GnTType.org Web Site and read all the basic info, including the "spring cleaning". Use the search feature here, to find the postings on anything you get confused about. Then come back, and ask more, and we will probably confuse you more.
