Hi everyone , Ive got GN 1 heads and using the FP1200 gaskets which have no vally pan . Apperently the oil is coming out of the grommet there i assume from it splashing all over and being synthetic . How about pluging it up in the intake and relocatning it to the valvecover w/o a breather or should i just lose it as someone on here said they did .

You can get rid of the PCV...not my first choice but many run without it...you can fab up some type of shield for the PCV on the bottom of the intake or use a valley pan gasket...I used the Felpro valley pan gasket with my GN1's and port matched stock intake...ports lined up perfect without any mods to the gasket...any particular reason why you went with the 1200's?....

I have 4 layer Cometic gaskets on my GN1 heads. I rigged up a "shut off valve" on the pvc (like those old bleeder valves we used to use to adjust boost in the old days) and when I drive the car on the street, the pvc is working. When at the track, I turn that valve to block it off. No leaks or smoke. Paul

We elect not to run the PCV at all, even with a shield, it can still draw enough vapor into the intake manifold, coat it and possibly lead to detonation.I would suggest using open element breathers and block the valve off.
