Yeah i had to adjust some things too, im getting ready to bolt the pipe back to the turbo but the crap gasket that came with the kit is shot, should i use hi temp rvt only or does anyone know where i can get this gasket in maybe copper? i've heard the rvt works but im lookin for some input

i'm running one, 3.5". as stated above, fit was pretty terrible but i made my own test pipe to make it line up nice. i'm running copper rtv with no issues.

Yip. As long as your flanges are flat and damage free a very thin smear of that stuff will seal it up nice. If you see it gooshing out the edges when you tighten it you used too much.

Thanks haywire im gonna give it a shot! What kind of bolts do u have on your pipe flange? I have allen head but i dont like em!

I have a mix of allen and hex head. The easy to reach ones are allen and the two hard ones are hex, I bent and ground a wrench to tighten those two. I used some 8x1.25 bolts from a motorcycle that have a 12mm head for more wrench clearance (most hardware store 8mm ones have a 13mm head)

couple pics cuz i was bored. don't expect your pipe to stay looking all nice and shiny for long hahaha. mine is about 4yrs/20k miles old. i used friction washers under the heads of the bolts, the ones that arent split but have a toothy knurled pattern on the face of them. you don't hafta go bananas tightening them either, just good'n tight

and one of the test pipe. i put a stainless flex joint in it to try to lessen vibration a little and hopefully prevent header cracks. what you can't see it the pipe going into the flex joint is cocked about 15 degrees to make up for the poor alignment.

Mine didn't work. Wouldn't control boost. Laying in my garage and still looks brand new.:D

I have there 3.5 and there 3.5 -3 test pipe. Went right in with no problems. Looks like crap color wise but works great. I can raise the boots from 10-30+ lbs.

Yep the fit deff sucked, but i made it work. I have 3" single shot with no muffler or cat lol,

All you guys need is a Scotch-Brite pad. It will make the pipe look great. The discoloration is only on the surface. After you get the color off...you can polish it back to a mirror. The discoloration comes off rather easily.

I never had the 3.5, but I did have the GN1 3 inch. It fit great but controlling the boost was terrible.
Sold it and went to the RJC 3 inch and internal gate. Now I run a Terry Houston 3.5 inch on my new motor.

GN1 does not make an internal puck pipe. RJC makes a nice one. If your not having boost issues...go with the one you have.
