There are multiple usernames posting from the same IP address and the SAME COMPUTER!!

If he don't need this board and its members seems he or someone in the shop is spending an awful lot of time trying to lure these very members to his shop.

And yes it's dead easy to see the ips and even what computer they're posting from, not sure if Vb shows you much more than the IP but the raw web server logs will show pretty clearly if the posts from various people and IPs are the same computer or not.

from what i know i didn't say anything bad about anyone what i pretty much said is most of the time i speak to gn guys in the southwestern area and not all of them have had an unpleasent experience from big to small.

You hit the nail on the head except for one part.... GN1performance made it abundantly clear on this board and others that he doesn't need TurboBuick or it's members.... There is a post on this board made by him, he laughed and said his stuff comes up in the ebay ads.... Once I am done with someone I am done........... A burnt bridge is burnt.....

Ah, fun. I guess I missed that one. He probably doesn't realize that a lot of people on turbobuick would buy other vendors' products simply because of his words on this board which he clearly doesn't care about...Me being one of them. I was going to buy an intercooler, downpipe, and exhaust system from him. I remember reading a post that he, marred, and some other GN1 people were posting from the same IP address, and that didn't sit well with me. I will not have anything to do with GN1 now.

I have nothing to do with this post or the people involved. But i call it as i see it. Lotus, your fault for letting a hack work on your stuff. If i heard my engine builder call my race motor a rodeo? that **** would have been out of his shop. The multiple user names thing? thats shady business, that tells alot about character, sounds like someone needs to grow up. I wish i had the money to own a business and yet this guy at GN1 performance has one and is still making money how long will it be till he runs out of new customers? Here in New York that **** that you claimed was done to you I would personally put him out of business in a few different ways. If i was you lotus and your claims are true, i would still contact a lawyer and see what could be done in your situation

I would love to be a supporting vendor on here but i dont have enough product to sell in order to be supporting. Regardless, I have always been honest with the parts i sell. Maybe it is the way i was brought up. There is no reason for anyone to be wronged in any type of business situation. If there is a problem then it should be corrected, or at least offer to be corrected. If the customer was really being a pain in the ass and you are the owner, you can refuse the work, or you can do the work because in the long run that person will be happy and give you a praise. I would never even think about asking a customer about taking off a part from his car to sell to another customer. I have seen that dont and quit jobs because of that. I have no patience with shady hack work. The way i see it is that GN1 performance is in the money exchange business, charging list price for low cost labor.

I also dont agree with stamping "made in usa" on chinese crap. Even if you modified a part, your only playing the role of quality control and not actually making the product.

Another statement i heard on here is "what happened to the good old days" Yeah what the hell happened to people taking pride in thier work instead of only thinking of the pay off. I love fabricating parts and take pride and put forth a lot or research into anything i build. Some people i guess lack these characteristics. But this is the way the world is.

If he did rob you for that money, dont be a shmuck and call your losses. You paid for work to be performed and the wrong work was performed?Then you need to take care of it.
