GNX flare ques.

I just got a set of flares today,sweet deal but unfortunately they have no hardware.I read in the post below and someone said to use the existing holes in the fenderwell lips.Is there any backing plates to go behind the screws or do I just screw them in and thats it?Also where the lip meets the quarter panel is there anything that goes between the lip and the panel or does it just lay against it?

I bought the rear flares only from Poston and also came with no hardware.I brought my car to a body shop and had them installed them and I did`nt have to worry about the installation.
Looks great and they painted it black to match the car.
