There is a set of GNX rims for sale on Ebay that I am thinking about for my 86. Any ideas as to how high the price will go? They should fit on a 86 GN right? Anybody know anything about these rims?

Buick borrowed the GTA rims from Pontiac to put on the GNX. The only change they made is, they painted 'em black, put different centercap logos on and used FOUR FRONTS due to the different spacing.
...I've always heard that the 'dimple' was a good thing to get?Originally posted by TurboRegal84
Are you speaking about real GNX rims?
There were actually not GTA Rims at all. The GNX rims were custom made by a company named 'JWC'. The GNX Rims lacked the 'Dimple' near the trim ring that the GTA's have. In addition the GTA rims don't come close to the offset of the GNX rims. GNX rims have a 3 9/16 in the rear, and a 3 15/16 in the front. Real GNX's provide a much wider footprint than the stock Grand National or GTA Rims. In addition the space between the outside lip of the rim, and the honey comb surface for GTA rims dosen't come close to GNX rims.
As for Prices on real GNX rims....I heard that of the few sets sold people were getting $4000-$5000 per-set.
