You can get exsisting ones machined for $150 each.
They just never seem to be as nice as new barreled rims.
Steve You will Sh*t when you see yours LOL

Post pics when they are done, that way we can all enjoy seeing them!!

BW

anyone know how to identify the real thing?i bought a set here from someone for a customer and he returned them screaming saying i ripped him off .the rear rims and ront rims have visual gold paint under the black on close inspection.i had to return his money and now want to build my case.

The gold would indicate they were GTA's not GNX's the next best thing and still worth $$$. Customers are a pain in the a$$,I know I am one too. :)

Did you sell them as GNX's?

GNX will actually have -15 on the front & -23 on the rear.
No dimples in the spokes either near the shell.
I think the Gold paint should of been a dead give away.

Replicas, as stated above, real GNX rims do not have dimples. And I suspect that the owner/seller is aware of that, as he does not show any pics of the rear of the rims showing the markings. Also, real GNX rims were not the same offset, and were not all marked front. Those don't look deep dish enough to be real GNX rims, either. Also, those center caps appear to me to be repros as the originals were flat on top where the decal is, those are convex shaped on the decal area. They are slightly dished outwards in the decal area. The center caps might be very recent Kirban repros, which is rumored fall off of the front rims at speed under brake heat-up.

They are all labled front.
They have the dimples.

All of these things say that they are GTA rims with GNX center caps, right?
They certainly do LOOK just like mine(minus the GNX decals) from the pics! Definately NOT GNX wheels.

i have a set that came from classic industries that are on a car i just got. they are in perfect condition and have the gnx center caps. i am not sure what to ask for them so if anybody is interested start making offers they are going to go on ebay if no interest.

I thought that auction ended at like $910.00. Did he re-list? Don't feel stupid! NO ONE in here knows EVERYTHING there is to know about these cars(although some act like they do. NOT referring to anyone in this thread). Some of the GTA rims didn't have dimples either by the way(I've got a pair of each), so that's not the only indicator. BUT: if the ones you're looking at have them, you KNOW they're not GNXs. The offsets(front and rear) were altogether different than the GTA's. The GNX fronts had a 15mm positive offset, the rears a 23mm positive. The GTA rears have a negative offset. That's why it takes spacers to mount them on a G-Body.
