I was wondering if there was any company who made replica GNX wheels and if so what size are they and how much.
Thanks

87 GN; T-44, CAS V4, ported upper plenum and throttle body, 340 Walboro, THDP, ATR headers, ATR single shot, 42.5 injectors

The most popular vendor has been Classic Industries in CA. They are 16X8 Pontiac GTA wheels & were around $450/set. They seem to be perpetually on back-order and I don't even know if they still sell them.

Can anybody get a GM part number for the GTA wheels and try GM Parts direct????? Just a thought:confused:  Tarey D.

What about REAL GNX rims? Does anybody reproduce those? I've asked before and everyone says to use GTA wheels, which I now have, but I want the deeper GNX rear.

I may have my GNX lookalikes for sale (Kirbans rims )also they are the same as Classics rims ,tires are 3/4 tread left
$575 + shipping

Kirbans rims are different than GTA/GNX rims as the lace pattern goes to the lug nuts on the GTA's/GNX's while the Kirban wheels are flat around the lugs.

The only appearance difference between Late GTA wheels (after 1987, including the classic wheels) and GNX wheels are the backspacing and dimples in the spokes by the rims (Early GTA wheels and GNX wheels have no dimples in the laces)

Nobody makes GNX offset wheels. GTA "Fronts" are as close as you can buy to a GNX wheel.

I just purchased a set on Ebay, but later found out I overpaid.
Since then I found a guy (local to me in the Philly Area) that
sells fully restored GNX Wheels, with fresh black pwdercoating
and CNC turned aluminum for about $250.00 each..
They are from a GTA, but he a gets them and restores them.
I am thinking about selling the rear wheels as I only wanted the fronts but had to buy the full set. If you are interested I am looking for $300.00 for both.
If you want to talk to the guy in Allentown, PA send me an email and I will give you the info. I have not seen this guys work, but for what I just paid to buy the wheels and have them professionaly restored, I would have given this a shot instead !

Do you mean for $250 he welds in an extra inch of material from one side of the wheel and machines an inch from the other side of the wheel... or just polishes and powdercoats a GTA wheel?

You can buy BRAND NEW GTA wheels for $150 each or $539.00 for a set of 4.

As you probably figured out, GTA Rear Wheels don't work on a TR without spacers, then only in the front. Unless they are brand new, I'd give you $100 for the pair.

Contact Classic Directly

There has been conflicting information posted for months
regarding availability of the Classic Industries GTA wheels.

Therefore, it's probably prudent to inquire directly:
